Selena’s Place was created in memory of our beloved grandmother, whose passing taught us the true meaning of compassionate care. As a family-owned and family-run assisted living home operating since 2021, our family is personally involved in hiring and supporting our staff, keeping the home well-stocked with groceries and household essentials, and even stepping in to help when extra hands are needed. We believe in treating every resident like family—with patience, kindness, and a low resident-to-staff ratio that ensures every person feels seen, valued, and loved.

Our journey began with heartbreak. After losing our grandmother to neglect in a nursing home, we knew something had to change. We experienced firsthand the pain that comes when care facilities are stretched too thin and residents become just another name on a list.

Selena’s Place is different. We’ve built an environment where every resident is known personally, where care goes beyond physical needs to include companionship, dignity, and joy. By maintaining a small patient-to-staff ratio, we make sure each person receives the time, attention, and respect they deserve.
